This Garden room (garden pub) was one of our favorite lockdown jobs for one of our loveliest clients, the end of the garden was an overgrown dumping ground with a couple of run down sheds, so the bar (pardon the pun) was not very high. That said we’re pretty proud of this one. The design switched around a couple of times and in the end the decision was made to go for a retracting garage door so that a true feeling of inclusion into the garden could be made. It really works as the paving just continues right inside the building, behind the bar and into the storeroom too. We used some lovely shadow gap cedar cladding on the front and standard feather boards on the sides and back. The roof is epdm.
