Futurescapes

We popped in to futurescapes this week to go to the APL (association of professional landscapers)(of which we are members) annual meeting. Which we unfortunately missed because the traffic was awful and then parking for vans was tricky with all the height restrictions at the excel centre.

But had we been there we would have heard our name called out as one of the finalists for the APL awards which is exciting – for the omega garden. I think it’s not until march that we find out if it won something.

It was really good to meet some of the suppliers we use face to face and meet some we’d never heard of.

A few things that stuck in my mind were orbbro’s concrete forming system https://www.orbro.co.uk/prowall, the new species of taxus Baccata ‘Renke’s little Green’ which we got a little plant from Provender of. The saws from Rubi looked awesome and the grabo tool is definitely on my list for future purchases. Never mind the digger/forklift attachment https://www.excavatorforklift.com/ and the attachments available from https://www.redexim.com/ for land tractors. Also lindum seem like a lovely company with beautiful turf/wildflower turf products (love that leaflet design).
